Tourrettes belongs to the Pays de Fayence community - it connects Provence with the French Riviera. The region is predominantly characterized by mountainous picture-book landscapes. Tourrettes is one of these so-called character villages (village de caractère) in the region. The medieval villages, with their narrow streets and restaurants, are bustling with tourists throughout the summer and offer a varied cultural program.

The private Château du Puy perches on a hill in Tourrettes and dates from the mid-19th century. In addition to permanently rented apartments, hotel rooms are also offered for tourists; the facilities here range from simple standard to luxurious suites on the top floor of the château.
